Our brief was to persuade Government to build a new, multi-purpose Justice Precinct in Sydney’s south west.

Arms with a supportive south west community, members of Parliament (both State and Federal) and driven by The Law Society of NSW and Macarthur Law Society, we ran a concentrated and sustained campaign. This was by far one of our greatest achievements.

Justice delayed is justice denied.

UPDATE 2023: The Federal and State Government have joined with Campbelltown City Council to fund a design for a long-awaited 5.7ha court precinct in Campbelltown City centre. The funding is part of the Western Sydney City Deal, which is an infrastructure and planning partnership between the Australian Government, NSW Government and eight local councils of the Western Parkland City (Blue Mountains, Camden, Campbelltown, Fairfield, Hawkesbury, Liverpool Penrith and Wollondilly). As of 2023, they have reached Stage 2 – Draft Precinct Master Plan consultation encompassing community consultation garnered during 2022.

Working alongside The Liberal Party and Dave Sharma’s team, we were briefed to breathe new life into Dave Sharma’s second run at Federal Parliament. The incumbent Dr Kerryn Phelps had just won the contentious seat of Wentworth a few months ago with the community putting up a protest vote to Malcolm Turnbull’s ousting.

Fighting tooth and nail over several months, utilising our weapons of communication, we designed and executed Dave Sharma’s brand; from logo to the extensive media executions in every channel; from animation to print ads, to social media to all collateral, thousands of corflutes and millions of flyers.

The result? A triumphant Liberal Party and the first Indian descendant to become a Member of Australia’s Federal Parliament.

Working alongside the Pharmacy Guild of Australia, we worked towards securing the Sixth Community Pharmacy Agreement (6CPA). The 6CPA is an $18.9 billion, five-year commitment by the Federal Government to Australia’s community pharmacies.

• The 6CPA delivers benefits for pharmacies (Administration, Handling and Infrastructure Fee, additional funding for patient health services) but pharmacies are also dealing with the adverse impact of the $6.6 billion in savings measures in the broader PBS package.
• The broader PBS package agreed at the time of the 6CPA provides savings to the Federal Government of $3.7 billion between 2015 and 2020, net of the 6CPA investment.

As of the May Budget, this campaign was successful in achieving their goal through a range of Government initiatives.

Engaged by GBOTA (Greyhound Breeders Owners Trainers Association), our small and collaborative army ran a fierce and sustained campaign against the Greyhound Racing Industry Ban Legislation. During this highly contentious project we drove all the creative, advertising and media, as the client’s advisor and creative resource.

By the client’s right hand side, we engaged and directed Ogilvy on all rollout and media buy. This included media spend with an extensive campaign, including a public rally.

Ultimately we won, despite Premier Mike Baird passing the law in the Upper House first, overturning the legislation within 3 months, which is historical.

Our alliance consisted of the Injured Persons Association, The Australian Lawyers Alliance and the NSW Bar Association.

We fought for the rights of the innocent injured people. The project was challenging working with a tight budget, however we achieved extensive media with clever strategies.

The result? NSW Government announced they would review their proposed reforms and work collaboratively with client on the legislation. Legislation was amended March 2017.

This campaign enabled The Law Society of ACT, The Injured Persons Association, The ACT Bar Association, Australian Lawyers Alliance and associated parties to stand up for the public and advocate the rights of the innocent injured.

The Labor Government decided to run a public citizens’ jury to address the important issues at hand. Under Labor's Chief Minister Andrew Barr’s direction the ACT legislation was amended in 2019 to include some of the lawyers and insurers concerns however the rights of the injured innocent were not fully protected.
